Our Research
Research in the Cognitive Data Science Lab is focused on advancing our understanding of higher-order cognition through computational and data science approaches.
The lab’s research explores cognitive processes like reasoning, judgment, and belief revision. Wherever possible, we seek to understand human cognition in realistic settings and in the context of real-world applications.
Examining cognitive processes in real-world contexts introduces many complexities. To address these challenges, research in the lab employs approaches from computational cognitive science and data science.
